Finer Details

Travel

If you're flying in from far away, the easiest route is Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi — from there it's about a two-and-a-half-hour drive to Ha Long Bay, which we'll arrange for you. If you're coming from within Vietnam or the region, Cat Bi International Airport in Hai Phong is much closer, about an hour away. Either way, you don't need to figure anything out: we're collecting everyone. Just send us your flight details through the RSVP form and a driver will be waiting when you land.

Accommodation

Our family's beach house in Ha Long Bay is ready for guests the entire month of November — beds made, sea views waiting, and family breakfasts every morning. Come just for the wedding week, or stay longer and make a proper holiday of it; either way, there's room for you. Just tell us your dates in the RSVP form so we can plan who sleeps where.

Transport

You will never need to open a ride-hailing app or wave down a taxi — our private drivers have every journey covered. That means airport pickups, the ceremony day in Hai Phong, evenings out, and everything in between. If you feel like going somewhere, just say the word and a car will appear.

Attire

If you'd like to wear traditional Vietnamese dress — the ao dai — to the family ceremonies, we would be truly delighted; the Guest Guide explains where to rent one or have one tailored. It's a warm invitation, never an obligation. For the celebration itself, think festive formal in whatever tradition feels most like you.

Our Traditions

Many of you are crossing half the world to be with us, into a culture you may be meeting for the first time. So before the incense is lit and the tea is poured, we want to tell you what it all means — because we'd love for every ritual to feel like something you belong to, not something you watch from the side. Think of these pages as us pulling up a chair for you.

A little about our families’ traditions — the customs, ceremonies, and stories that will shape our celebration. We are writing this part together with our families and will share it here soon.
